If the OMRON connect app prompted you to turn on location services and you denied the request, you will have to turn on location services to sync with the monitor. To tell the OMRON connect app that it has permission to access locations, go to: 

iOS: Required for background data transfer only. 

Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> Tap on “OMRON connect” app and turn ON Location 

Android: 

Settings -> Location -> App permissions -> Tap on “OMRON connect” app and turn ON Location
